1.0L DUALJET engine
The 1.0L DUALJET engine lets you get the best out of every drive. It delivers comprehensive advantages in thermal efficiency resulting from a better compression ratio, dual injection system and friction reduction, realising a high-level of balanced dynamic performance and fuel efficiency.
Engine Auto Stop Start system (EASS)
EASS system automatically stops the engine when you stop the car, for example while
you wait for the traffic lights to change. This prevents unnecessary fuel consumption
and helps limit exhaust emissions and engine noise.
Auto Gear Shift (AGS)
The AGS is an automated manual
transmission featuring an Intelligent Shift
Control Actuator that automatically
operates the shift and clutch. This results
in ease of driving and a direct drive feel
for you, along with low fuel consumption.
Manual transmission
With a 5-speed manual transmission,
the S-PRESSO makes driving on any
road a pleasant experience. Its
transmission offers an optimal gear
ratio, and reduces friction for the engine
and drivetrain, enabling it to obtain the
best possible fuel consumption and
power performance.
HEARTECT platform
Innovation lies at the heart of the S-PRESSO. It is built with Suzuki’s HEARTECT
platform. Light and highly rigid, it lowers fuel consumption and vastly improves the
fundamental vehicle performance in terms of running, turning and stopping. Its frame is
characterised by smooth and continuous curves, which efficiently disperses impact
energy in case of a collision.
Cabin compartments
The presence of storage compartments let you stow small items and drinks, adding to
the comfort of the spacious interiors.

Safety

ESP®
ESP® detects wheel slip, for instance when you turn the
steering wheel sharply and/or the road is slippery, it
automatically affects control over the engine torque and
brakes to suppress the wheel slip and helps you stay in
directional control.

Light, impact-absorbing TECT body
The body design of S-PRESSO centres on Suzuki’s TECT concept, which helps protect the cabin in the event of a
collision by efficiently absorbing and dispersing energy.
It also widely employs high tensile steel to achieve both lightness and excellent safety performance.

Hill hold control
Hill hold control is designed to prevent the vehicle from
rolling backwards when you restart the car on a slope. It
engages the brakes for up to two seconds after you
remove pressure from the brake pedal to depress the
accelerator.

Airbags
The S-PRESSO comes with front SRS airbags as standard
for the safety of the driver and front-seat passenger in
case of a frontal collision.

Rear parking assist system
S-PRESSO comes fitted with ultrasonic sensors in the rear
bumper. This means you can get rid of your parking woes,
because it helps detect obstacles while you park the car.
Warning sounds keep you aware of the distance to the
obstacle, making parking a simple task
